Providers who accept original Medicare will also accept your Medicare Supplement. Medicare supplements do not require referrals to see a specialist. You pay a premium and in most cases you are not required to pay co-pays & deductibles. There are no top end dollar limits on most services.

Other benefits that may be included in a MAPD plan, such as preventative dental, eye glasses, hearing aids, transportation to and from an office visit, & Silver Sneakers gym membership, are not provided in original Medicare or a Medicare supplement. To be eligible for a MAPD, you must have Parts A&B of Medicare, your residence must be in the servicing area and you cannot have end stage renal disease (ESRD).

Plans offer cash payments to help defray out of pocket expenses for hospital and related deductibles and co-payments. Benefits can be paid directly to the insured individual. Helps avoid surprises or unexpected expense when hospitalized, often used along with Medicare Advantage plans.

Planning For Long Term Care
Custodial care (assistance with activities of daily living or cognitive impairment) it’s generally NOT covered. Patients that receive care in a nursing home can receive quality care provided by nurses and aides, reducing much of the burden and responsibility for family members. Protects assets and could preserve your estate.
Missouri & Illinois Final Expense Life Insurance Plans
For Protection to pay outstanding debt or obligations.
Final Expense could include funeral or burial expense, unpaid taxes or bills, travel expenses, unpaid medical expenses and a variety of other bills. The face amounts are typically between $2,000 and $15,000 of death benefits. Issue ages can between 0-89. Policies can also possibly be issued regardless of health questions between the ages of 50-75 in Missouri*.
